Halloween may have come and gone, but the memories (and leftover treats) are still very much alive! This year, Living Resources went all out, transforming the office and our programs across the capital region into hubs of spooky, sweet celebration. From vampires to superheroes, our staff and participants truly brought the Halloween spirit to life. And let’s not forget the endless supply of candy and treats! At our main office, the excitement was palpable as trick-or-treaters made their rounds. Whether dressed in elaborate costumes or coming just as themselves, everyone joined in the fun, creating an atmosphere that was both [...]

Sessions like these are vital to promoting a life of dignity, independence, and happiness by giving individuals the tools they need [...]

All amazing things take a lot of time.  Sometimes they take approximately 35 years to cook into a macabre cinematic potion.  On that note, the Alumni Activities Club was very excited to see the long-awaited Beetlejuice sequel starring three of the original actors from the first movie all the way back in 1988!  Friday, September 6 was the big day that so many have been waiting for so very long! Rob Corso and Jesse Saperstein excitedly went to the Crossgates Mall and were photographed with a Cos Play Player who went all out for this amazing moment.  The movie did [...]

One of Chris’ goals is to pursue healthier lifestyle habits including cooking himself healthy meals and going for walks. Three years ago, Chris was not a fan of vegetables, and he showed little restraint when it came to buying processed foods at the grocery store. Chris picked out four recipes to try this summer [...]
