This wasn't just a simple decorating session, though—it was a full-fledged culinary adventure! This month, Living Resources was thrilled to welcome members of the board, staff, supported individuals, and families to our new gallery, Artfully Unique. Artfully Unique is a brand new gallery experience located at 2005 Western Avenue in Albany featuring art made by individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities, as well as individuals with brain injuries. After months of preparation, we were thrilled to open our doors to our friends to give them a sneak peek at the wonderful collection for sale. The war room of the New York State Capitol was buzzing with excitement on November 18. Advocates from across the state gathered for the first rally of the season to call on Governor Hochul to make important investments in the I/DD community. There were speakers from across the community who came to share their stories. Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara opened up the rally and got the energy flowing in the room with his speech.
