August is National Diversity Awareness Month, and our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team celebrated in their signature fashion- with a party!

They held a Meet and Greet social at our main office in Albany. Staff members were treated to a spectacular array of culturally diverse foods and beverages while getting to know the members of our DEI Team, who were on hand to mingle and answer questions about their committee.

Our DEI committee launched in 2023 and has been enthusiastically committed to fostering a workplace where employees feel valued, respected, and included. They have decorated the office in celebration of a variety of cultural and religious holidays, attended marches and community celebrations, and participated in the Pride Center of the Capital Region’s 2023 Gala.

We celebrate them as they celebrate the diverse population that encompasses our staff and program participants.
