The season of gratitude has officially arrived, and our Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program welcomed it with open arms—and empty stomachs! This week, we celebrated with a “feast fit for a king,” transforming our gathering space into a warm, welcoming hall filled with the delicious aromas of a traditional holiday dinner.

It was a heartwarming sight to see individuals in the program come together with their families, cherished friends, and dedicated advocates. The sense of community was palpable as the room buzzed with laughter, storytelling, and the joy of reconnection. Of course, the centerpiece of the afternoon was the incredible spread of food. Guests enjoyed plates piled high with succulent turkey, savory ham, creamy mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, tender carrots, and soft, warm rolls.

And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, the dessert table beckoned! It was a dazzling display of sweet treats, lined from end to end with homemade pies, rich cakes, cookies, and other festive confections.

This truly special day was made possible entirely by the hardworking and compassionate staff of the ABI department. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes—cooking, baking, and decorating—to ensure every detail was perfect. To them, this was so much more than just a lunch; it was a labor of love designed to strengthen the bonds between our individuals and their supporters. It was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season, reminding us all that the best part of a meal is who you share it with.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out and shared their afternoon with us!
