To initiate the Self-Direction process, reach out to your care manager who will submit the necessary request form to the State for approval and assist you in scheduling the required informational session. Once your care manager completes the required documentation and you attend the OPWDD information session, you can begin searching for a broker and FI services.

Your circle of support includes various individuals, including your Care Manager, FI, Broker, as well as your natural supports such as family members or anyone who offers you assistance.

Yes, you have the freedom to hire the individuals you prefer. Our role is to assist you throughout the onboarding process.

The fringe rate is currently set at 20% for individuals working under 20 hours per week and 30% for those working 20 hours or more per week. This rate covers employee benefits.

We have established direct partnerships with multiple brokers to handle reimbursements.

Absolutely! If you have a preferred broker who is not already connected with us, we will guide them through our onboarding process to establish a working relationship.
