When Amanda, Columbia Greene DCOP Manager, introduced the idea of an art-filled excursion to The Art Hub, excitement sparked instantly. The individuals eagerly embraced the opportunity, each one thrilled by the chance to unleash their creativity in a fresh and inspiring setting.
Though this trip required a bit more funding than usual activities, the enthusiasm was undeniable. Amanda distributed permission slips, wondering if the cost might deter some participants. To her delight, every single individual returned their slip, ready to embark on this colorful adventure.
From the moment the group arrived, The Art Hub’s staff welcomed them with open arms, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. They patiently guided everyone through the process, answering countless questions with warmth, encouragement, and always a smile. Then, it was time to create! The room buzzed with excitement as individuals selected their pottery—coffee mugs, waiting to be transformed into one-of-a-kind treasures.
