Is there anything more magical than the holidays in New York City? The smell of roasted nuts on a chilly December day, the lights twinkling on the Rockefeller Center tree, holiday shoppers bustling in and out of stores – there’s nothing quite like it. But nothing can compare to seeing the Rockettes perform at Radio City Music Hall for the very first time.

That’s just what a few ladies did this past week! It was early in the morning (and really chilly!) when they boarded the Wade Tours bus with other travelers ready for some holiday cheer. Before the show, the bus brought them to Carmine’s Italian Restaurant, where they had an amazing four-course lunch. The food was spectacular, and many where fighting off food coma by the end, but the fun was still to come!

After lunch at Carmine’s, the ladies got back on the bus and arrived at the famed Radio City Music Hall in Midtown Manhattan. The excitement was palpable, and you could feel the holiday spirit in the air. As they found their way to their seats, they were bursting with holiday cheer. As the lights went low, a hush fell over the crowd. The show was about to start!

The dancers performed a spectacular feat, and it was hard for them to keep from dancing in their seats right along with them! After the show, the ladies each bought themselves a special souvenir to remember the day. While the holiday excitement was still there, they welcomed the long and quiet ride home on the bus. All-in-all, it was an amazing day that won’t soon be forgotten!
