David Lieberman is a 2018 graduate of The College Experience who currently works in the program as a Direct Support Professional. Recently, David was appointed a member of the Board of Trustees at his synagogue, Congregation Beth Emeth in Albany.

Faith is important to David and his entire family. In fact, he is now a fourth generation synagogue board member, dating all the way back to his great-grandfather, who was president of the board of trustees at his congregation in Jamaica-Queens.

“I think I will be an excellent board member,” David shares, “I will take on many responsibilities. I was recently at a board retreat where we discussed expectations and what we can achieve together for this wonderful congregation.”

Being on the board of trustees is a three-year commitment, with the potential to serve additional years, if a member is nominated to become an officer. Mazel tov, David! We wish you the best in your new role and know through the hard work you put into your career with The College Experience that you will be tremendous asset to Congregation Beth Emeth.
