Who’s got talent? That’s right, the individuals in the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program at Living Resources have talent! Their 2024 talent show was a hit filled with singing, dancing, and even a special puppet show.

Preparation takes place months before with participants in the show working hard to hone their skills and perfect their talents. What is spectacular about this particular event is that each individual has suffered a brain injury and is enrolled in the ABI program with the goal of establishing meaningful relationships and roles in the community.

One very special performance took place this year. Jorelle and Victoria performed a dance choreographed by Jorelle that was representative of her recovery following her brain injury. It was a very moving performance and a true testament to the strength and perseverance of the individuals in the program.

Dancing wasn’t the only talent on display, as the audience was entertained with a few songs from Glen, Ronald, Brian, and Renee. Michelle had the whole room laughing with her jokes, and the women’s group put on a special puppet show that helped others learn more about each of the women.

Each year the acts get better and better, and the talent show as a whole is a treat that the entire Living Resources team looks forward to year after year. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!
