Move-in day is always a milestone filled with unforgettable energy, and this year was no exception! Living Resources’ College Experience Program (CEP) officially welcomed 10 new freshmen to our vibrant community at Russell Sage College.

The morning air buzzed with a mix of eager excitement and quiet first-day nerves. Parents and guardians arrived with cars loaded to the brim with all the essential ingredients for a successful college transition: cozy bedding, fresh wardrobes, snacks, and most importantly, those special comforts of home that make a new dorm room feel instantly inviting.

As trunk lids popped open and boxes were unpacked, the dorm hallways came alive with chatter, laughter, and teamwork. Our new freshmen jumped right into making their spaces their own, thoughtfully arranging their belongings and getting to know their dorm-mates. What started as quiet introductions quickly turned into shared smiles and the very first sparks of lifelong friendships.

Beginning college is a courageous step toward independence, personal growth, and new horizons. Through CEP’s two-year residential program in partnership with Russell Sage College and Living Resources, these 10 students are embarking on a journey rich with hands-on learning, life skills development, campus involvement, and meaningful internship experiences.

To our incoming freshman class: welcome to the family! We are so proud of the bold step you’ve taken today, and we cannot wait to watch all the incredible things you will accomplish in the months and years ahead.
