Site Supervisor (Westchester County)
The Site Supervisor is
responsible for direct consumer care and overseeing staff that provide care
and support to consumers in a residential site. In collaboration with the Residential
Habilitation Manager, he/she acts as a positive role model for consumers
and co-workers to ensure the quality service delivered meet the needs of
the individual consumer.
Qualifications: HS Diploma or GED and two (2) years
experience with the developmentally disabled population.

Two (2) year degree in
related field and one (1) year experience with the developmentally disabled
population.

Residential

assisting the consumer with day-to-day maintenance of his/her home and

The RHM supervises staff that provides the supports and skill
training specified in the individualized residential habilitation plan.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in human services related field plus experience working
with the developmentally disabled population.

Adjunct Professor for the College Experience Program at
The College of Saint
Rose
The College Experience Program, offered at The College of Saint Rose in
partnership with Living Resources, seeks to fill an adjunct
professor position to begin Spring 2009. Responsibilities include teaching one of
the several courses to college-aged students with developmental
disabilities in the College Experience Program, developing curriculum for
the course and communicating with the Academic Coordinator.
Courses to be filled include: Interpersonal
Communications, Studies in Self-Expression, Civics, Independence Seminar
and Portfolio II. Days and times of
courses vary.
Required qualifications include a Masters degree and
experience teaching.
Preferred qualifications include a Masters degree in
Special Education and 3 years of experience teaching special education or
experience teaching at the college level.
