Positions

Living Resources Home Care Agency is looking for dedicated, caring and reliable individuals to join our team. We are accepting applications for the following positions:

Personal Care Aide

This is a NYS certified position. PCAs provide personal care and assist with housekeeping tasks for members of the community who live in their own homes. Duties include: assisting with bathing, toileting, light housekeeping, cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, laundry, and running errands. PCAs are required to follow the client’s Plan of Care, maintain simple records, report any problems, and discuss observations with a nursing supervisor.

Home Health Aide

This is a NYS certified position. HHAs provide clients with services and support in areas such as personal hygiene, grooming, transfers and range-of-motion exercises. HHAs may prepare special modified diets, take vital signs and change non-sterile dressings. They are required to follow the patient’s Plan of Care, maintain simple records, report any problems and discuss observations with a nursing supervisor. Other duties may include light housekeeping chores, laundry, grocery shopping and small errands.

Companion

Companions provide socialization and/or light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping and safety supervision. Companions may also serve as respite providers for the primary caregiver in completing non-medical tasks. Companions are required to maintain simple records and communicate with a nursing supervisor regarding any issues that may arise. To provide Companion services for Living Resources, you must be certified.

Licensed Practice Nurse

Living Resources Home Care, a licensed agency, is seeking LPNs to provide services including medication pours, wound care, private duty and other nursing visits. Visits may be during the day, evening, night, weekend or holidays. There are opportunities available in 11 counties (Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington).

Job requirements:

Current NYS License
Valid, clean driver’s license

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in an acute setting
Home Care experience preferred

Registered Nurse

Living Resources Home Care, a licensed agency, is seeking RNs to provide services including nursing assessments, PRIs, medication pours, wound care, private duty and other nursing visits. Visits may be during the day, evening, night weekend or holidays. There are opportunities available in 11 counties (Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Montgomery, Warren and Washington).

Job requirements:

Current NYS License
Valid, clean driver’s license

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in an acute setting
Vent and IV experience a plus
Home Care experience preferred
