The Service Coordinator
is expected to assist the consumer(s) and families to develop a
comprehensive service plan (ISP) which
allows for the maximum amount of independence for the individual. This involves collaborative efforts with
the individual and family to develop goals which promote
self-determination, independence and the acceptance of the current
condition.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is preferred. At least 2 years of experience working
with individuals with disabilities and 2 years of experience providing
Service Coordination type work are required.

College Experience Program – Residence
Instructor
Living Resources
joined with The College of Saint Rose to create the College Experience
program (CEP), a unique opportunity for young adults with developmental
disabilities. Students in the
program receive a specially designed curriculum on campus and live in
apartments and houses nearby.
We are currently
seeking Residence Instructors to provide a dorm-like atmosphere conducive
to habilitation, advancement and the well being of the students. Additional responsibilities include
assisting each student in improving activities of daily living, social,
recreational, communicative skills for supervised living and functioning
within the community and college environment.
