Day Community Opportunities Program

The Day Community Opportunities Program is a “without walls” program offered throughout the Capital and Saratoga Region for adults 18 years and older.  Individuals participate in a wide variety of community experiences, including cultural and artistic pursuits, volunteer opportunities, and recreational activities.

Participants may also take advantage of skill-building classes, including travel training, computer training, cooking class, and money management.

Each person enrolled in the program has an individualized support plan that is consumer-driven and flexible, allowing room for independence, growth and personal freedom.

The program, which currently serves 114 individuals, runs 240 days a year, Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 2:00pm .  Transportation is provided by the Day Community Opportunities Program.  Participants are picked up between the hours of 8:15 and 9:30am and returned home after 2:00pm .

For more information on the Day Community Opportunities Program, contact Frank Prevratil, at (518) 218-0000 ext. 4317, or email Frank by clicking on the mailbox.
