Clinical Services |

Living Resources offers a variety of clinical services to
meet the needs of individuals with Developmental
Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injuries and those who
assist them. Individual and group intervention,
opportunities for practical application of skills, and
consulting services are among the services offered.
Neuropsychological services including assessment, cognitive
remediation, consultation and treatment are offered through
our partnership with NeuroPsychological Rehabilitation
Services. To access any of these services print, complete
and submit a referral form. After receiving and reviewing
the completed form, a member of the clinical team will
contact you to schedule an appointment for evaluation and/or
send information to you. |

Training and Consultation

The Clinical Team offers training sessions for staff in
the areas of disability awareness, behavioral
intervention, communication, interaction, and program
development. Specialized Training and Consultation are
also offered to meet specific individual and
programmatic needs. |

Psychology
|

| |
Living Resources provides a number of psychological
services including comprehensive psychological
evaluations, informed consent evaluations, behavior plan
development and implementation, and ongoing staff
training in various areas including but not limited to
psychological and behavioral domains, sensitivity
training, pro-active strategies, and crisis
intervention. |

Social Work
|

Services offered encompass a comprehensive range of
person-centered, clinical, social and emotional supports
for individuals with disabilities. Available services
include assessments & evaluations, individual
counseling, group counseling (examples include
bereavement, social skills, relationships/sexuality),
crisis intervention, family support & education, staff
training, and consulting services. |

Therapeutic Recreation
|
|
|
The Therapeutic Recreation Services offered include
opportunities to develop skills, knowledge and behaviors
for daily living and community involvement. Using
leisure activities and community-based recreation,
individuals can expect to develop physical, cognitive,
emotional and social skills. The Certified
Therapeutic Recreation Specialist will work closely with
individuals and their families/supports to incorporate
specific interests and community resources to improve
overall Wellness and Quality of Life. Through Leisure
Education individuals can learn how to increase
independence in accessing information and involvement
with recreation/leisure interests and social events.
Consulting services are available for all aspects of the
development and facilitation of recreational activities
for people with disabilities and their families. |
